WBM: Who is Natalie Kathleen?

NATALIE: I consider myself a jack-of-all-trades adventurous soul, always looking for an adventure! Living out my dreams, building a global accessories brand, and enjoying every random moment in between.

WBM: Where are you from?

NATALIE: Born and raised in beautiful Vancouver, Canada, with a detailed few post-highschool years living in many cities around the world. Currently, I enjoy the best of the east and west, sharing my time between Vancouver and New York City.

WBM: Interest(s)?

NATALIE: I am very curious; I like to test out and try new things, and am always on the go. Whether it’s a Sunday bicycle ride about the city, shopping with my girlfriends, pushing my adrenaline snowboarding, or lounging in my fave local with my best pals and a lovely glass of red wine!

WBM: What inspired the development of Sienna Ray & Co.?

NATALIE: It all started while perched in the back of the black cab in London, working my first fashion job, and having to hide my beat up non-label handbag while my bosses proudly showcased their Dior and Mulberry masterpieces. I knew then that I had a taste for luxury, and the quickest way for me to get my hands on that with a junior associate income was to [design] a little handbag all of my own…

WBM: Is this something you received education for?

NATALIE: If half a semester of grade six sewing class counts, then yes; otherwise, I’ve picked up tricks of the trade here or there through life experience.

WBM: How long have you been involved?

NATALIE: I can humbly say I made my first handbag at 21 years old and have been growing Sienna Ray most intensely over the last three years.
