Sometimes when you hear an artist for the first time, it feels like they need no introduction. In a split second, they feel relevant and familiar. Tatiana Owens, introduced to Why Blue Matters through New York-based label TC Music, is one such artist.
She’s been featured on VH1, nominated for a Hollywood Music and Media Award in the Best Pop Song category, and her songs have been heard on popular TV shows “The Hills”, “The City”, “Mob Wives”, and “The A List”.
A few of her collaborations have included Bill Grainer (Jennifer Hudson), dBerrie (Chris Brown), and Blackout (Nicki Minaj). With these, and other, heavy-weight writers and producers behind her, Tatiana Owens will no doubt see great success in 2013. “Aquarius” is a recent release, seeing light in January of this year, adding a hot-blooded club sound to her roster of ballads.
We’re hoping to get an interview with this talented artist in order to better introduce her to you, but in the meantime, we’ll treat you to a high-energy tune, totally appropriate for Monday recuperation, by this spunky singer-songwriter from Harlem.
