Early this year we had a chance to interview AJ Romano, a talented up and coming artist born and raised in South Plainfield, New Jersey, now living in Jersey City. When we interview Aj, he was working on his art career, as well as his journalism career, showing in art shows, as well as writing for an online publication, EyesIn Magazine. Since then, big things have been happening for Aj and we are excited to be able to be apart of it.

GrafSk8 is a custom design skate company designed by AJ Romano and now backed by Kickstarter! This fantastic project came from an injury that AJ went through years back that caused him to not be able to skate as much. When he stopped skating, he started designing custom decks and the feedback was phenomenal. Now AJ has turned his passion into a career by creating GrafSk8, a custom design skate company where you can bring your beat up deck and have it completely refurbished for almost half of what retailers are charging now a days. Yes, half. He can also design decks from scratch. Those are also cheaper than the decks you can find at your local skate shop.

GrafSk8 has the potential to REVOLUTIONIZE the skating industry, but it needs funding. It already has the support of Kickstarter.
